Committee Meetings
All parents are invited.  Meetings are from 7pm - 8pm in Room 4 in the lower level of the Parish Center on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except July).

Volunteers
The Pack is always looking for volunteers.  Contact your den leader to see what you can do to help make Cub Scouting the best experience you can for your son.  Families will be contacted periodically about ways they can volunteer or otherwise help out the Pack and their son's dens.

Membership
Cub Scouts is a community organization and as such Pack 746 accepts all boys regardless of where they live, go school, or go to church.  The Cub Scout year runs from June to May.  As of June all boys are considered to have moved up a grade level and are considered to be of the next higher rank.  Thus, boys in Kindergarten can join the Pack in June as Tigers and don't have to wait until September when they start first grade.

Pack Meetings
Pack meetings are for all boys in the Pack and are held once a month during the school year (Sep-May).  There are 3 summer time events as well that the boys can attend to earn the National Summertime Award.  Pack meetings are typically on Sundays at 2pm in the Parish Center on the grounds at St. Joseph's and run about an hour (special events like the Pinewood Derby run longer).  We do not have a set schedule for the Pack meetings as we have to schedule with the Parish Office for use of the building but our calendar is set over the summer time and dates posted by the start of school for the upcoming year.

Den Meetings (Sep 2008 - May 2009)
Dens are groups of 6-8 boys of the same age and typically all in the same grade.  The dens in our Pack meet twice a month in the Scout building / Youth Center at St. Joseph's.  The building is on the south end of the campus by the play ground (near the school gym).  As the boys move up in age and rank they stay with their den and keep the same meeting night.

• Den 1 – Wolf – 2nd Grade - Wed (2nd and 4th), 6:15-7:30pm
• Den 2 – Bear – 3rd Grade - Thu (1st and 3rd), 6:15-7:45pm
• Den 3 – Webelos 1 – 4th Grade - Wed (2nd and 4th), 6:15 – 7:30 pm
• Den 4 – Webelos 2 – 5th Grade - Tue (1st, 3rd, and 5th), 7 – 8 pm
